Numastec Rust Control B 16-71 is the
best solution for the pure metal and for the metal with signs of corrosion. Is an industrial strength,
triple action, rust inhibitor and primer.
Numastec Rust Control B 16-71 is intended for use on roofs and walls - especially for deeply pitted rust areas. This product should be top coated with a Numastec product for extended protection from ultraviolet and environmental degradation.
MAINTENANCE
Since it is used as a primer, NUMASTEC B-16-71 has no specific maintenance requirements. If used on a roof, check it every 6 months for structural damage and remove accumulated debris. Check ceramic finish coat annually for surface integrity.

May be applied by brush or roller. For better results, use a deep nap (2,5 cm or longer) industrial roller. For wide area coverage use airless spray equipment that delivers at least 7,6 gal/min at no less than 205 bars to propel product through carbide or tungsten steel reversible tips ranging in size from 0,061 cm to .079 cm. NUMASTEC B-16-71 is NEVER reduced in water. Apply directly out of container. Recommended rates of coverage and dry film thickness vary according to the condition of the corrosion present. Usually a minimum two-coat application of 100 microns or 3,65sm/l, combined thickness is recommended for optimum performance. (See application specification.)
